Essential oils have the most wonderful beneficial properties such as healing, calming, and so much more. I'm beginning to believe there is an oil for everything!
Lavender Essential oil from Bulgaria by Rahda is wonderful! The smell is so calming and relaxing. I love that it's only one ingredient... 100% pure concentrated lavender oil. Not some random ingredient you can't even say. It's even quite a large bottle and comes with a dropper which is great because you won't over pour and waste your oil. You can put as little or as much as you want.
I actually use mine in an oil diffuser next to my bed. The lavender helps me sleep, which I usually have trouble with. The smell is calm and eases my mind.
Lavender oil has many uses, benefits, and can mix with a variety of different essential oils.
1. Calming
Everyone knows of the relaxing factor of lavender oil. Whether you rub a couple drops on your hands/wrists and deeply inhale, or if you put a few drops in your essential oil diffuser, you can achieve this hailed calming effect.
2. Sleep aid
Same as above, you can also dab a little oil into your sheets or pillow for that soft scent of relaxing lavender to help put you to sleep and stay asleep.
3. Pain management
Some people use lavender for migraines, aches, sores, and even toothache.
4. Repellent
Lavender is a natural repellent for mosquitoes and other annoying insects.
5. Fragrance
Lavender is a favorite scent for many people. It is used in soaps, lotions, air fresheners, perfumes, etc.
There are many, MANY more uses, but I find these to be useful for me.
